William E. Shelton, IV is the Owner/Managing Member of Wes Capital, LLC. Will began his career in the investment banking field in 1973 after attending the University of Mississippi. He specializes in fixed income securities with heavy emphasis on mortgage related products issued by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). He has extensive expertise in this area having been involved in the secondary market since the middle 80's when the individual loan securitization process and loan pooling began.
At Vining Sparks, IBG, LP he developed a guaranteed loan purchase program that assisted institutions in meeting their basic objectives, including liquidity, earnings growth and safety. His program assists clients in the formulation and execution of investment strategies consistent with proven Asset/Liability and portfolio management practices.
Recognized for his expertise in the government guaranteed loan sector, Will has been a speaker for the SBA Mid America's Lenders Conference and was a speaker at the Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas SBA Lenders Conferences.
He is a past member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, was registered with the Tennessee Division of Securities, and held a NASD series 7 and 63 license.
He is a past member of the National Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors and Memphis Board of Realtors, and held a Broker's license with the Tennessee Real Estate Commission.
Michael C. Pappis is currently ranked as the top producing Executive at Wes Capital, LLC. Michael began his business career in the Loan origination and brokerage industry in 2004 after attending the University of Tennessee. He expanded his business profile from being a loan officer to becoming the minority partner in 3 brokerage firms in TN, CA, and DE.
In 2009 he broaden his business expertise and entered the legal field and administrated a firm specializing in real estate and collections. In 2011 as the financial crises heated up he initiated a program specializing in accumulating a residential and commercial real estate portfolio that spanned $5 million dollars in total assets. After turning his portfolio over to a management company, he continued buying and selling distressed residential real estate in TN, FL, and TX.
As the economic crisis continues to improve he now joins Wes Capital, LLC. At WES Capital, Michael combines his knowledge of banking, finance, and legal businesses together to expand the continued growth of this well-established brokerage company into a larger “boutique” firm recognized as a “Secondary Market Maker” trading in the guaranteed portions of USDA FSA and B&I loans and SBA 7(a) loans.
